Creating a procedure encounter

On the receptionist or front desk staff's point of view, this is how you create a procedure encounter. You can watch the Video or follow the steps below:



Select patient in queue. Accommodate the selected patient and select procedure.

Add the specific procedure that the patient is going to be billed for. Add the ICD 10 code for billing (if applicable). Next, select the nurse or doctor who will perform the treatment or procedure.

Click Send Patient to forward the patient and its consultation info to the next queue.

To countercheck if the patient you recently sent is in any of the queues inside the clinic, you can go to the CHECKED IN tab.
